UPM offers a comprehensive inventory of products, including Nickel Alloys, Titanium, Stainless Steel, Cobalt Alloys, PRODEC®, Alloy Steel, and Cobalt Chrome Moly in sheet, coil, strip, custom thin gauge strip, plate, bar, and near net shapes. FIRSTCUT+® Processing Services include cut-to-length, leveling, slitting, edging, custom rerolling, shearing, laser cutting, laser gauge measurement, water jet cutting, sawing, precision cold saw cutting, precision blanks, first stage machining, heat treating, ultra-sonic testing, boring, trepanning, deburring, angle cutting, and packaging.

Precision Rolled Strip
United Performance Metals purchased a precision rolling mill and supporting processing equipment located in Wallingford, CT. The acquisition includes a Sendzimir cold reversing mill, strip cleaning line, annealing furnace, and slitting line providing precision product solutions and tighter tolerances for our customers.
Worldwide Growth
Plus Ten Stainless, Vulcanium Metals and Aerodyne Alloys formally integrated into United Performance Metals in 2017 creating a thriving, worldwide specialty metals solutions center.
Vulcanium Metals & Aerodyne Alloys
2013 brought the procurement of Vulcanium Metals, a titanium and medical grade stainless distributor with locations in Northbrook, IL and Belfast, Northern Ireland.
United Performance Metals, Vulcanium Metals International and Aerodyne Alloys partnered to distribute titanium and hi-temperature specialty alloys to customers in the United Kingdom and the European Union.
Plus Ten Stainless
UPM grew in key U.S. locations including the 2011 strategic acquisition of plate supplier, Plus Ten Stainless in Benicia, CA.
Formation of United Performance Metals
United Performance Metals (UPM) was formed in 2008, when the resources and entrepreneurial spirit of two established metal service and supply chain centers, AIM International and Ferguson Metals, came together under the guidance of O’Neal Industries, the nation's largest family-owned network of metal service centers and component and tube manufacturing businesses.
